The fact that she considers it normal says a lot more about Donna Brazile.
A top Hillary Clinton surrogate denied Sunday that it was at all unusual for donors to and allies of the Clinton Foundation to ask the Democratic nominee for help or access during her time at the State Department.
“This notion that, somehow or another, someone who is a supporter, someone who is a donor, somebody who’s an activist, saying I want access, I want to come into a room and I want to meet people, we often criminalize behavior that is normal. I don’t see what the smoke is,” Donna Brazile told ABC’s “This Week.”
“I’ve been a big supporter of The Clinton Foundation,” added Brazile, a former adviser to Bill Clinton and the current acting chair of the Democratic National Committee.
