BREAKING: Suspect Who Plowed Into Crowd At Charlottesville Protest Identified

Earlier today, an individual plowed a vehicle into a crowd of people at the Charlottesville protest. According to reports, 19 people were injured, and a 32-year-old woman died.

According to the Washington Post, the driver of the vehicle has been identified as 20-year-old James Alex Fields Jr.

The car is registered to 20-year-old James Alex Fields of Ohio, according to vehicle registration records reviewed by The Washington Post. Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail Superintendent Martin Kumer told The Post that a man with the same name and age was booked Saturday on suspicion of second-degree murder, malicious wounding, failure to stop for an accident involving a death, and hit and run. Kumer said Fields is being held without bail.

Records show Fields last lived in Maumee, Ohio, about 15 miles southwest of Toledo.

According to this, he’s a registered Republican and active military member, BUT I’m still waiting on a major media outlet to confirm that. It could be #FakeNews. At this point, it’s up in the air.

We’ll update you as we find out more.
